Catalanas are an extremely rare breed that originated in Spain. They are known for their heat tolerance, & good egg production of white eggs. Plumage is a rich, red-buff color very similar to the New Hampshire, with a Straight comb and blue shanks. They weigh from 6-8 pounds. The hens are non setters.

We are sold out of the Catalana until spring 2010, and will ship them in February, March, and April. we usually sell out of them before February, it is a good idea to order before January for this breed.
