Australorps are one of the more popular layers, being excellent setters as well. they lay almost as well as the commercial hybrids, laying up to eight eggs per week on occasion, and have a very large size (8-10 Lbs live weight), making them an excellent meat bird as well, with yellow skin and dark pinfeathers. We ship the Australorps weekly. One of the best!
